Is Veli functional food a grain-free dog food?
Yes, Veli is 100% grain-free dog food. We've also eliminated potatoes and heavy fillers to minimize the risk of food allergies and give your dog steady energy without slumps.
How does a postbiotic support a dog's body?
Postbiotics are biologically active compounds created when good gut bacteria (probiotics) process food. Put simply: they are the "finished products" of the bacteria's work, valuable substances that bring direct benefits to the body. Unlike probiotics, postbiotics contain no living microorganisms. So they don't need to colonize or multiply in the gut: they act immediately once they reach the digestive tract.
Is functional food with EntoPro bio-protein safe for a dog?
Yes. Dog food with EntoPro bio-protein is fully safe and approved in the EU since 2021 (Regulation 2021/1372). Our EntoPro™ bio-protein is produced in a certified, closed-loop HACCP facility. Insects are a natural part of wild canids' diet: foxes and coyotes regularly use them to meet their need for clean protein.

On velipet.com, users can learn about Veli food, build a box, place a one-off order or a subscription, join the waitlist, and manage a customer account.
User data such as email address, name, delivery details, shopping preferences, and dog profile information is used to handle submissions, orders, customer accounts, transactional communication, and nutrition recommendations. We do not sell user data.
If a user signs in with Google, we receive the email address, name, and account identifier from their Google account. We use them only for authentication, account identification, and the feature requested by the user.
